USB flash disk "name" didn't show in win seven ???

after installed win 7 ultimate 32 bit, all usb flash i plugged into the usb port only readed as "removable disk". the name i've given before (eg, "XXXX") cannot be readed as in my previous OS (XP). is there any solution??

Welcome!

Just right-click on the drive in My Computer and select Rename. The computer should remember that name.

Flash stick showing as "Local Disk"
I just got a new 16GB SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 flash drive that says Local disk instead of Removable Disk, which all the other USB flash drives do. I did uninstall its driver, replugged and it still shows as Local Disk.

Why USB external hard disk show now " The disk need to be formatted"
I don't know what is my problem because is not the first time that usb external hard drive is working fine until get damage and said " it need to be formatted " and lost all the INFO because I have to format again the disk to be usefull. Also it is not the same hard disk.:cry:
