    USB 3.0

I Just bought a USB 3.0 PCI-E Card and windows 7 won't reconise it. so I tried the Vista and XP computers and it won't run in them. When will Windows 7/Vista/XP Support USB 3.0?

They do support them, its your motherboard. Not all motherboards can support pci-e cards with usb 3.0.

But thats just my guess.. I am not 100% sure.

Windows 7/Vista/XP Don't support USB 3.0 nativily yet. you need the included drivers to make it work. when will Windows 7/Vista/XP support USB 3.0? and yes all motherboard's do support USB 3.0 PCI-E cards as long as they have the slot.

USB 3.0 are out and only supported by Windows 7 (as far as i know). I saw a motherboard that has USB 3.0 and is supported by Windows 7. Most motherboards from Gigabytes are using USB 3.0 and has been out since 2009 (but barely used). The motherboard i am getting has 3.0 usb and is Windows 7 certified.

My point is, Windows 7 does support USB 3.0 but not fully.

Didn't you listen?? I'am a computer techie these current motherboards work with windows 7 but windows 7 RTM does not support USB 3.0. To use the USB 3.0 on these motherboards you need the drivers that come on the Motherboard CD becuase it isn't in the OS.

Windows Vista and Windows XP don't support USB either as they are too old but M$ is going to release the USB 3.0 Driver update for Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP through windows update. But When????

Who knows really. Possibly in Service Pack 1, or 2, or not until Windows 8 there will be native support.

I have a USB 3.0 mobo, and Windows 7 recognizes it, and the drivers for it. Perhaps your installation of it and the drivers failed in some way, the card is bad, or your mobo just won't or isn't recognizing it with your supplied drivers. Hard to say with your lack of supplied information on what exactly happened., how the installation process went, what the card is,etc.

So, did you load the driver for the card and get it to work?

The Western digital USB3 PCI-e card works in Windows XP and Windows 7 64 just fine, after you load the driver from Western Digital.
