Windows 7: MyBook Drive Upgrade Question

MyBook Drive Upgrade Question

i currently have a mybook studio II 2tb.
its set up in raid1 with 1tb storage mirrored.

space is running out so im planning on upgrading
the 2x 1tb drives inside to 2x 2tb.

the actual enclosure is very easy to open, and
its one of the features of this mybook so you can
easily hot swap drives if one fails etc.

my question is, how would i copy the 1tb data over
i already have. if i remove one and place a new 2tb one,
will the raid just mirror it over?

the drive will be a different size as its 1tb larger.
