Is the drive misbehaving in any measurable way?
If so what problems is it giving you?

I'd love to see it repair a defective motor or head servo.

Dont knock it till you try it...

All I can say is I have used this in the past on drives where data was unrecoverable, invisible, or drive was reported as failing. A data recovery service will charge thousands of $$, so this is a great piece of software to keep in your kit! It is a miracle worker, but yes there are mechanical issues I am sure it cannot fix.

    thanks, I'll try this
it works fine, just windows diagnostic wizard tools pop out, when I start a computer
I scanned with seatools, but can't even start smart test, other disk starts normally

Ok... then it's probably in early stage failure... You probably should look into getting an immediate backup of your data from that drive. Bringing out my crystal ball I see a new hard drive in your not too distant future....

In your BIOS... make sure that SMART is enabled for that drive. This will give you a warning during boot if there's anything serious.
