[News] The Commodore 64 is back - Sort of...

Just found this while surfing the net, looks very interesting

There’s nothing like it. At just 17.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall, it’s designed to take up far less room — and use far less energy — than any other desktop computer.

We were checking this out at another forum...looks like a very misguided effort at best. It is poorly designed, will absolutely run hot, offers none of the benefits of a desktop (expandability), none of the benefits of a notebook (portability, including the monitor!)...this is a design that outside of specialized usage, dies years ago, and with good reason.

Outside of having purchased the name, this has nothing whatsoever to do with the Commodore company that ruled years ago...do not be taken in...(besides, this very model is ALREADY marketed under a completely different brand name, so again, do not be taken in by the name)

i saw this already and i think it's just an attempt to cash in on the Commodore name. it's definitely not something to get excited about.
