flatbed scanner on wndows 7 drivers?

i have a acer flatbed scanner model 640. i have no idea how to make it work on windows 7 ?

Windows 7 Professional 64

Is this a 640p or 640u ?
The 640p stops at XP drivers, after Benq took Acer's scanners over.

There is this, but by the time you pay for it, you might as well buy a new scanner.:

Canon A 40 Powershot and Benq flatbed scanner drivers for Windows 7 64
I'm looking for drivers for Windows 7 for the Canon Powershot A40 camera and for a Benq flatbed scanner. The camera contains precious pics and it would be a pity not being able to download them. Any suggestions?

Scanner Drivers
I'm looking for new scanner (25+ ppm) that will work w/7. Scantastik store claims nobody (fujitsu, canon, xerox, etc.) will work yet - drivers not available until year end. Does anyone know anything differently? I was able to get my HP officejet 7000 printer to work....thanks.
Canon N67ou Flatbed scanner driver
Anyone recommend a driver that might be compatible for Windows 7? Canon site , even in EU says it will not be supported. Probably time for a new one, hey.
