Currently im running an AMD sempron 3400+ which has these stats:
And im thinking of upgrading it to an AMD turion x64 TL-52 which i can get for about £15
Is it worth it?
Will i notice a diffrence?

You can upgrade but have to be very careful so have look this video to see what it look like: YouTube - How to Upgrade CPU of an Acer Aspire 4315 - Step by Step but have to check if your laptop support the new CPU and see if there any latest BIOS first before you upgrade.
I just read the documentation on your motherboard, and yes, you can indeed upgrade to the Turion CPU. And yes, you will notice a performance difference.
There's quite a significant difference in the L1/L2 cache's. Plus it's a dual core, as opposed to a single core. If you have the cash, an upgrade would be worth it in my opinion.
Can i upgrade to any amd turion 64 x2 with an s1 socket ?
