    Is it safe to use current disc partitioning tools with SSD's?

    Yes, it's fine. However, you'll get better performance if you buy two smaller SSDs.

    The solution rich people use is this:

    SSD for each OS

    1-2TB Conventional Drive for Storage/Data/ETC (Partition this as much as you want)

I have my opinion, but I'm looking for others :geek:. Do you think a W7 machine, using IE9 as the only browser, that is maintained only by the on-board Disc Cleanup, Defrag and IE9 Browser Maintenance tool, will run as well as the same machine maintained with CCleaner, and a 3rd party defragger...

Using the custom installation method on the Windows 7 upgrade CD i purchased for another laptop. I nuked the C:\ drive on my PC and created a new one, resizing it so that I had some unallocated space, for which I planned to create a new partition on top of. I'm looking to seperate the Windows 7 OS...
