My SSD has dropped down in the win7 rating to 5.9 which is the default standard 7200rpm SATA hard drive speed, i have not noticed a speed drop but wondering if anyone has ideas on this, im a little concerned i have a setting or two wrong.
Have you checked your drive using Intel's SSD Toolbox? Also there was a firmware update recently and your drive might be the better for it if it is updated, if needed that is.
To keep it short, I was trying to download the latest Intel HD Graphics Driver from the official website to update my wife's drivers to try and solve a problem. She has an Intel i5 4th generation and running with the built in GPU since it's more of an office/media computer.

Now I'm just talking 'Windows'. So from when Windows splash screen 'very first' appears until I see desktop. Fresh install of Win 7 Pro 64 bit with updates, etc on my new system (inc SSD) meant that the dots only barely got formed to Win Logo then I'd get desktop. :D Great!! But...
