oddly... speedfan and everest report 2 different temps on my computer, so you might want to check the temps and see which one looks more "normal" for instance, on my machine speedfan was showing the core temps to be 22 and 23 respectively, everest was showing it at about 37 which sounds right to me | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Self Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate X64 SP1 CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz Motherboard Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz Memory 8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 Sound Card Realtek Monitor(s) Displays Acer Al1980, Screen Resolution 1360*768 Keyboard Alba USB Mouse IT Works Wireless USB PSU 750W Cooler Master Case Cooler Master Haf X Cooling Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Hard Drives 500GB SATA WBC

I've found that everest works the best, even though it's not free. It allows me to monitor all sorts of temperatures procceses, dll files and more.
It also allows you to use the following things to display items:
Logitech GamePanel
OSD (Similar to Sidebar)
Sidebar
System Tray
