I installed Windows 7 without any difficulty and running smoothly. But my problem is with hardware drivers. I couldn't install my speedtouch330 dsl internet modem. Then I tried my HP printer. No way with the message 'the operating system ont supporting. So what is the way out? Any body can help?

Try directing your Device Manager's 'Unknown device' to the folder where the Vista drivers for your hardware are located. That may just work. I know it does for my Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty on Build 7100.

I half agree, if you have the original install disk/files then you can run the setup in compatability mode. Just locate the setup.exe/install.exe and right-click then select properties, in the Compatability tab you can choose XP/Vista and then run the install.

This has worked well for my Intel Chipset Mobile GFX which was giving the exact same message as you've stated above.

    Printer not detected

The driver is already installed and the printer icon is shown in control pannel. In the beginning I could n't install the software that came with the printer. Later I succeeded with administrator setting. But when I start the programme(HP Solution center) 'printer disconnected' message appears even though printer is connected and power on.
