Which service to start for iPhone?

I've followed BlackViper's guide to disabling some unwanted windows 7 services, and came across one services where I thought disabling it might affect Windows not recognizing my iPhone, which it actually did. But I can't remember which service it is!

Now, when I connect my iphone to my pc, I hear the "device connected" sound, and my phone starts to charge, but it's not appearing in My Computer, nor iTunes.

Anyone know how I can make it get recognized again?

Hi and welcome to the forum .

Go into task manager and try starting the processes iPodService.exe and AppleMobileDeviceService.exe and possibly iTunesHelper.exe, if they are not already running.

I think the second one is the important one but try all three.

I hope this solves your problem.
