    Little tiny Acer netbook

For what ever reason my wife wanted one of these netbooks so I bought one today for her. It is one of those Acer Aspires. At the discounted $280 bucks it was a nice deal and makes her happy. It is cute and very small. What gets me is that she wanted an external drive as these little babies do not have them and also wanted speakers so we bought a Logitech LS21 that are bigger then the netbook. The nice thing I liked about it was that it came with windows 7 Home 32 bit and a 6 cell battery. As our wedding Anniversary is on the 28th you can of course guess that this is what she will be getting.

Maybe I will get lucky tonight?

    LMAO

    UPPS!

    Be careful Mike,

Wives tend to want to be surprised on their anniversary. Unless you agreed
that the computer etc. would be her anniversary present, You better get out
    and buy something more romantic.

She may consider this purchase a " Vacuum Cleaner " and if you do not
surprise her on the 28th with something more feminine you may not
" get lucky " for a long time.

Let us here from you on the 30th

    Good Luck
    Richard

    happy anniversary

but why does she want a external harddrive. netbooks come with either 160gb or 250gb is that not enough for her needs?

Truly romantic - not! Would Agent Provocateur not be a decent addendum - to the external hard drive

    Best of Luck Sir!

I think he may have been referring to an external optical drive because netbooks don't have them. Most have hard drives of 160+. I think your wife will love the gift for our anniversary. I know mine would and I guarantee if I gave her something like that I would be getting some. I got her brand new Toshiba laptop for her birthday and lets just say she loved it all night long.

We were at Fry's and she picked it out herself. I unistalled all the garbage trials like Norton ,McAfee, office and stuff she would never use to conserve the space and then loaded real office 2007, protection, and the rest of the software stuff she uses. It is a cute little netbook.
