cd ram drive and virtual drives giving me issues

My CD ram and virtual drives vanish from my computer every time i reboot. i can re enable them from my device manager but this is obviously not what i want to do every reboot. if this problem has been posted and solved already i am sorry but if anyone has a clue what to do i would be very grateful.

    Welcome!

What program are you using for this virtualization? As far as I know, Windows 7 doesn't have a built-in CD emulator. Are you referring rather to virtual hard disks, in Disk Management?

The program i am using for the virtual drive is deamon tools. but the real dvd ram drive also vanishes when i reboot. Then i go to device manager to turn them back on.

I wonder if Daemon Tools is causing the issue. Try removing it completely, and see what happens.

There are other CD emulators out there. I use MagicDisc, if you're interested.
