Multimedia audio controller Drivers

please Help

i installed Creative Sound Blaster PCI128
now i see in the device manager other devices --> Multimedia audio controller

i downloaded the drivers to win2K from creative site
but the installer is start then crash with a blank messege

i check in the installer and there is no *.inf file for manual install

What is the solution for this ?
is there a generic driver that can work ?

Somehow I have a feeling that based on the age of that card and that the last driver update that it received was almost 10 years ago (with the card coming out it 1998), I think it is safe to say that you aren't going to have much luck finding anything. In fact that card despite its name isn't even a Sound Blaster but a renamed Ensoniq (from back when Creative bought them out),

Sound Blaster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The card may still work on a supported operating system, but I have a feeling that most onboard sound from the last few years will have more features and sound better than it does.

As long as your Windows isn't 64 bit you can try this,

Gameport support pack for Vista 32-bit (x86), upda... - Creative Labs

One thing to remember is that gameport support was removed in Vista and carried over to Windows 7.
