    Hi benemaru,

Unfortunately, extended desktop support is not offered in Windows 7 Starter. Here's a blog post with more information about what else Starter lacks: Let?s talk about Windows 7 Starter - Windows 7 Team Blog - The Windows Blog

In case "Multi-monitor support" isn't clear enough (I personally don't think it is), here's a thread on Microsoft Answers clarifying the issue: Windows 7 Starter Edition - multiple monitors

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers,

You can purchase an anytime upgrade for $80.
    Newegg.com - Win7 Starter to Home Premium - $80
    Tigerdirect.com - Win7 Starter to Home Premium - $80

Personally, I would just purchase an OEM copy of Win7 Professional for $140, but that's just me. If you do this, make sure you get the right version (OEM copies come with either 32 or 64 bit, not both)

    32-BIT Win7 Pro - Newegg.com - Win7 Pro 32-bit - $140
    64-BIT Win7 Pro - Newegg.com - Win7 Pro 64-bit - $140

You should also know that OEM copies do not come w/ support and you can not return them. They are also tied to one set of hardware (you can't use this copy on a new motherboard if you upgrade)
