Booby, if you're lucky enough to live close to a Micro Center store, they have some great deals on the Phenom II x6 as well as the x4's and x2's. Free motherboards are available Micro Center AMD Processor Bundle Savings

Amd is the biggest let down I always had AMD, but if they don't get there act together I am gonna have to go to intel on my next upgrade. That X6 is like the 49th best processor here PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks - High End what happened. I hope they have something comming to at least compete. Seriously dissapointing.

I read on some foreign website that the new Bulldozer 8 core CPU is to be released June 11th. If that is true, we'll see then what AMD can do.

Apparently the CPU has been overclocked, but tends to revert back to AMD Phenom II X3 720 from time to time. The CPU is inserted in the ASRock N68-VS3 UCC motherboard. Does it reverting back means that the overclocking procedure is somewhat unstable or is it just a graphic glitch? Also, how better...

AMD Phenom II X4 965 HELP!
I just got my new Ripjaws X series RAM in the mail today. After I had installed it cpu-z read the wrong timings and frequency so I quickly set it up properly in the BIOS. That worked fine. Next I attempted to bump up the target DRAM frequency in the BIOS and it wouldn't boot, so it defaulted back,...
