prime95 is probably the best to test stability at full load, and also give you a good idea of full load temps.

Thats not meant to be as acurate as it does not put it under as much strees which sounds like a good thing but not for overclocking as i want to test stability.

intelburntest; set it for max memory 16threads and 5 loops, but keep a close eye on temps and I used "realTemp" myself

    Huh?

If you want to test for stability..without having to prime95 for HOURS...linpack is the way to go.

I use it for OC'ing...bigtime. I can evaluate a config much quick than I ever could with prime95.
Once I get something stable, then I'll run prime for a few hours. More often than not prime will pass.

    Benefits of using Linpack:
    1. More accurate than Prime95 Small FFTs/Blend.
    2. Takes less time to tell if your CPU/RAM is unstable than Prime95 (usually
something like 8 minutes Linpack vs 40 hours under Prime95).
    3. Use the same stress-testing engine that Intel uses to test their products
before they are packed and put on shelves for sale.

    Benefits of using IntelBurnTest:
    1. Simplifies usage of Linpack.
    2. Real-time output of results to the screen.
    3. Simplifies the process of selecting a test size to use.
    4. Better appearance.
    5. Intuitive interface.
    6. Real-time error checking.
    7. System status acknowledgement.
