did the "new" pc come with 7 pre-installed? if not and the win7 install "genuine", is missing the mb chipset drivers.

I updated my specifications.
However I did not open the case to identify the PSU, as I know little about hardware. I will try to open it with a friend of mine.
I noticed that the temperature of the graphics card is 46 degree (without any intense graphics application running). Is it hot? My friend told me this is common problem (for the pc to restart once the card becomes hot), and advised to check the graphics card fan.
The computer came with windows 7 installed; and the USB drivers are dated 2006. However when I check for windows updates; I found no updates are required.
Another thing; I think the vendor installed card reader. From the USB definitions; can he used the usb internally for the card readers?
Thanks a lot for everyone.

USB drivers are normally "old", it rarely got updated unless there's a new USB standard (USB 3.0 is coming). As for your graphic card, you said at the start of the thread, that it's GTX 480 - the current NVIDIA's Monster, yet after you update your system spec profile, it shows as 9400 GT...? Which one is the right one? If yours is GTX 480, then you REALLY NEED to check your power supply, that card can really suck a lot of power... on the contrary that 9400GT, that's NVIDIA's low end card. It should be very energy efficient, cool, and close to noiseless. But you get what you paid for with 9400 GT, don't expect it to perform above anything but low detail in ANY game. Open your case, see what power supply make/model/specs, report back.

First of all, I would really like to thank everyone who helped me.
I discovered the solution for the USB (by chance). There was 'Intel (R) N10/ICH7 Family USB2 Enhanced Controller - 27CC'; and once I disabled it; the external hard disk was detected.
There are another 4 USBs similar to the mentioned one; with different endings '27C8, 27C9, 27CA, 27CB'. I think if I disable them as well; the other USBs will be also detected.
Still the graphics issue. I will open the CPU with a firend; and check the PSU.
Thanks again; and I will keep updating.
