    hi all. i just upgraded ddr2 ram from 4gig to 8 gig with the same sticks. mb picks up 8 gig, windows picks up 8 gig but says 3.19 usable. any reason why. i have a 64 bit os. thanks

    Make sure Windows is allowed to have unlimited RAM.

    when i tick make settings permanent box and then apply the tick disappears. weird
