My Thumb drive also has a CD drive integrated. Plz help

My Cruzer USB has basicallly 2 drives on it. The regular storage, and some sort of CD drive which contains some files. Take a look

As you can see there's drive J for files, but also drive H "U3 System". Within drive H is

I know these files here were used for Cruzer's own software where when i inserted my usb it could run some program. But i deleted these programs and now have no use for this extra drive on the USB.

So my question is, is there any way to remove the drive altogether? I formatted the usb stick but the drive remains. Alsl when i click on it and press format, nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Another USB Thumb Drive problem

It has no partitions or volumes, and I can't chkdsk it, it's a raw format at the moment. Any ideas what to do? Ditching the drive is an option,...

thumb drive troubles
I am having trouble with my thumb drive. I can format it okay with FAT32, but not NTFS. Both Full and Quick format both end with "The format did not complete successfully". I have also tried from the command prompt and GParted. GParted did not return any errors, but Windows would not recognize it....
