Disable auto-click but enable just one click for folder

Hello, I actually have in forder options "Single-click to open an item (point to select).
I really like it because I can open folders with just one click but I don't like (point to select). I like one click to select a file and double clik for open it.
¿There is any way that enables one click for opening folders and one click to select files / two for run files?
There is any option at least for disabling the (point to select) option?.
    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome!

Not sure what you're asking. How would you select a folder, if clicking on it opened it, and pointing at it did nothing?

Well, I'm asking if there is any way to select files/folders without (point on select) option, maybe with ctrl or something like that hehe I don't really know.
With point on select option you must be really carefull of not pointing any undesirable file while selecting various files.

I agree. I don't know of a way for that. The only other way to select files that I know of, besides dragging the box around it, is using check marks.

Great, I'm glad to hear that. To be honest, I didn't think you were going to be happy with the report.

I guess it never hurts to try. :)
