| | External Monitor on Laptop performance Hi, Just got an Asus G73 laptop. It has an ATI 5870 1Gb. It also has a HDMI port. Question is: Will playing games on external HDMI Monitor diminish game quality performance. The fact of using an external monitor, does it make the graphics card work harder thus decreasing performance. |

In either case your 1 Gig GFX should be able to handle it What would be more important? having a higher frame rate on the LCD, or better resolution on the HDMI monitor? |
