Epson printer working on one computer but not the other

Hi,I have an Acer 7720g laptop with windows 7 Ultimate as the O/S and when i connect my Epson c67 printer to it windows loads the drivers for it and the printer is ready for action and works great,but when i connect the printer up to my brand new HP laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium nothing happens? Can anyone explain why?

According to the Win7 compatibility site:

Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs and Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, and Downloads

both 32 and 64 bit versions of Win7 contain drivers for the C67.

Do any other USB devices work when plugged into the same port on the HP laptop?

All other USB devices seem to load and work well,just wont detect printer!
