DVD drive not working

I installed Windows 7 with high hopes, but not impressed with the performance. Now my computer won’t recognize the DVD drive. My computer is pretty new, I purchased it few weeks ago from Office Depot through Dealrocker.com discount deal. I am not sure exactly what the name of the drive is called, but it is listed as HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH10L in device manager. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to SF!

Make sure the drive has a letter in Disk Management.
