    Problem with Xerox work center 3119


    I installed Xerox work center 3119 and i upgraded it with compatible drivers for windows 7. The problem is that the device is not scanning. It has the option "start scan", but nothing happens. At the same time, it prints everything .
    So the printer works, but the scanner does not.
    I tried reinstalling several times, but the result is the same.

    Can anybody tell me what the problem is?

    It sounds like the drivers are the default drivers that windows assigns. They are compatible with your printer, but do not have all the functionality.

    My suggestion is to do the following:

    completely uninstall the drivers and software for the printer
    Disconnect the printer from the computer
    Download the drivers straight from Xerox: WorkCentre 3119 Drivers and Downloads

    Install this driver package
    Hook printer back up.
    The computer will go through a process of recognizing the hardware and should use the drivers you installed.
