Hi guys, I hope you'll help me out with this.
I have an Edimax U-7318ug USB wireless card which worked fine under Windows Xp, although it overheated a little, but still worked fine. I installed Windows 7 64-bit on my system (and it runs great, I love it
) and installed the drivers for the usb wireless card, which I downloaded from the site of the manufacturer, but if I stress the network a little, like downloading with uTorrent or downloading through Steam, the card just shuts down itself. Otherwise it doesn't do that if I just browsing. The problem with the overheating still exists, but I assume it's not so much of a problem, because it ran great under Windows Xp. Do you have any suggestions (despite that I should buy another device
)? Thank you, folks.
