There's 50 items in this drop down list so I guess I'll write them down and start checking each one out to see what it is. Is there some way you can take a picture of this, it would be a lot easier to explain?

In Device Manager, right click on each device, then select Properties, then the Details tab, then look at the hardware ID.
For PCI devices, research those numbers at: http://www.pcidatabase.com
For USB devices, research those numbers at: http://www.linux-usb.org/usb.ids
Once you know what the device is, you can check manufacturer's website to see if they've got current drivers.
Otherwise, google is your friend.
Great. Glad to hear all is ok now. Be sure and make a system image backup using Win key | type Backup | Enter key | choose System image backup from the left-hand pane.
