    Partition problem

Recently, i've wanted to create a partition in my hard drives using the paragon partition utilities...but instead it didnt create a partition, when reboot the laptop there are lists of os needed to be choose b4 using the laptop which primary 1 is the windows seven/vista and primary 2 is the linux..evrytime i switch on this laptop i needed to enter the windows seven os which is the default os in this hard drive. this is unusual for me because before this i didnt need to choose any os to use my laptop and normally it will automatically load d default os. when i've checked the disk management, it shows that the system reserved is the active partition and not the drive c...what status of partition that can be made active?..can i make d drive c as the active partition therefore the list of os will not appeared anymore when reboot?...i'm afraid if i change the active partition, the laptop wont be bootable anymore...i dont have the windows recovery disk or the installation disk of the windows seven...can someone give me an advice?...please..help me...thanks........i'm using the windows seven home basic edition and i'm using acer aspire 4736z...please, intelligent people help me...

First make your Acer Recovery disks, before anything goes wrong.
