How to Prevent Scanner from being a Start Up Device?

I'm trying to prevent my scanner from starting up (along with its associated noise) when Windows 7 starts up.

I couldn't find my scanner in the "Everything" tab within Autoruns (version 9.57) during a manual search or via a search using the Find option.

There also doesn't seem to be a way to stop the scanner from starting up from the Devices and Printers window - Scanner Properties pathway.

Is there another way to stop the scanner from starting up when Windows 7 starts up.

Thanks for the tip.

Have a look in the startup programs - type msconfig into start/search, hit Enter, then go to the startup tab.
