    Bluetooth is not detected!

I just got my Acer Aspire 4745G which comes with a built-in Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. I had Windows 7 Ultimate installed, and I looked all over the files and folders but couldn't find bluetooth. I downloaded the 2 drivers from Acer, for Atheros and Broadcom, but when I try to install Broadcom, it says bluetooth cannot be detected. Please make sure you have bluetooth device.

    Can anyone please help me?

sometimes bluetooth must be "enabled" before it can be seen to install the driver. Is there a key combo to do that on your Acer?

If your on an Acer it should be "Fn + F3" key to enable the bluetooth and disable aswell.

OMG. It WORKED!!! Thanks a lot guys. I didn't have any button for bluetooth like the old one I used, Fn + F3 launched my wireless manager for wifi and bluetooth! Thanks!

My Case is different. I can & know how to enable bluetooth (Fn+F3). It's working fine too.
But everytime when Windows restarted, it would be defaultly TURN OFF & I have to turn in on again.
But it will be off again, once I turn the computer off or restart the computer.
This problem is annoying, as I am using a bluetooth mouse with it.
Is there a way to permanently turn the bluetooth ON.
    WiFi work without this problem.
