    Cannot detect SCSI HDDs


    hey all, i set the hotswappables in bios but windows7 wont detect the drives !!

    how can i tell windows to set drives letters after detecting them?
      My Computer

    Hot swappable sounds like RAID to me. Have you installed the correct RAID driver?

    well yeah i got the 2 drives set up for the windows installation on which i typed this msg

    Yes, but Zig is asking if you installed the drives as Redundant drives AKA RAID or are they SATA connected and you are wanting to hot swap?

    no sata isnt enabled yet.....they are redundant drives but not initialised.....would that erase my data?
