Printer for Banners

Does anyone know of an inkjet printer that prints banners, 8 1/2 inch x 11 inch per page, and works with windows7?

My friend has one and it is very fast and prints 54" wide by however long your roll is.

Taskbar banners
When I hover my mouse over the icons on the taskbar in windows 7, it used to show me what pages where open (in use) even web pages. It used to show me the entire page but now it only shows me a banner with words describing the page. How can I change it back to the way it was?

thanks for your guide how can I create a task to 'open a printer, print the test page at that specific printer and then shut down the printer' ? I want to do this, so that the printer will be maintained and not break due to inactivity thanks!
