Something's fishy about my computer lately

As of now, out of nowhere; my computer has been acting weird. The font has been changed to that slanted look (which I didn't ask for), and there are times when my update client just stops working, and so does my microsoft word processor, just when I paste a text. One thing though is that this seem to have started after I updated my Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. The reason why I did a virus scan was because one forum site I go to, for some reason, had a diffferent user name on which wasn't mind, and thus I got scared. After I did the update, that when all this happened. Plus, I did so virus scans with both Malwarebytes as well as Security Essentials, and found nothing.

What could have happened? Please help me out.

Welcome

Using system restore go back to the point that everything worked.

System Restore

It does sound like malware. Run malwarebytes, again and the antivirus. Do not do the System Restore until you are sure that you are virus free.
