Bluetooth stack failure: driver works, but cant access device controls

Hey Guys!

I'm a Engineering Student myself and quite qualified, but cant figure out what to do at this point (without reinstalling the system which im actually too lazy to do ^^).

I run a Travelmate 8371, bluetooth adapter itself is working fine on ubuntu. I own 2 devices: a bluetooth hedset from nokia and a Nokia 5800.

The laptop finds devices and handshakes with them. However, when I ist the devices and click on one to go into control-window, it would hang for like 20 seconds, then giving a message "failed to connect to bluetooth stack" and suggesting to restart the computer and/or the device.
BTW the 5800 is missing some drivers i've disabled, the headset is installed fine however.

For 5800 i also use the OVI-Suite, which runs fine and connects to the mobile without any trouble. But I would prefer using it directly from windows to transfer files.

Tryed: broadcom stack/driver update software from the broadcom website. No luck: it said everything is up to date. Tryed to remove the devices and re-pair them with the notebook. Tryed to bump my head against the wall for 10 minutes.. No luck either ^^
