    Windows 7 (64bit) Mouse Problem

I just got a new laptop with windows 7 in it. Everything went well for a few weeks but then iwe started to notice this annoying problem. When i left click 1 time a folder for example it takes it as 2 or 3 clicks and opens the folder/exe instantly. This is very annoying while gaming and so on. I had logitechs mouse but i bought new fatal1ty mouse and the problem still continues. Help would be appreciated and sorry for bad english! its an USB mouse btw and i have tried to set my double click speed needed to open folders to fastest at mouse options too, still no change.

Take a gander at this thread but do it in reverse.

Disable auto-click but enable just one click for folder

Hopefully this will help, if not try fiddling with soe of the other options.

No problem, was it that the mice were faulty or did my solution work?

I'll mark this thread solved when you post back.
