Can I connect PWM fan as a normal fan this way?

This is my front fan connection that is the default stock fan that came with my CM 690 II Advanced casing

This is the new PWM fan I bought

Q1) Can I remove the old fan and connect the new PWM fan in this way? Do I always get maximum speed if I connect this way?

Q2) How to connect a PWM fan to act as a normal fan?

Q3) What is the point of using PWM? Isn't it better to use normal fan so it can work at maximum speed and your components will be cooler?

    Thanks

    I believe so,
The yellow wire would go to I believe a support fan plug on the mother board.

To get a PWM fan to work as a normal fan, just use the red and black wires like in your picture. The fan will run at full speed, and you won't be able to vary the speed. The yellow wire might be the tachometer and would attach to a fan header on your motherboard to monitor fan speed. If the fan is running at full speed, there's no point in attaching that wire, unless you're curious.
