HP DVDRAM GT30L external drive
I have Windows 7 (64bit)
New HP Touchsmart TM2 Notebook PC - comes with external hp dvd drive no software attached. Was woking with machine and used thumb drive - now no longer installing when I connect dvd drive.
Have rung HP went through uninstall and install and they say I need to do a full recovery.
Is there someone out there that has had this problem before and is able to assist with another alternative fix rather than complete re-install.
I get error code 32 - "a driver service for this device has been disabled". is the error code I am getting.
The particular dvd driver is able to work on other machines that I have plugged it into .
