No longer able to install Mouse...

I have a Samsung laptop and a Dell wireless bluetooth mouse. Up until right now, the mouse and the laptop worked fine. If they stopped communicating, I was able to restore that by using the Printers and Devices dialog in control panel.

But, my system crashed just now, and I got that blue screen that dumps physical memory or something and isn't really there long enough to read everything on it, let alone comprihend it, and now my mouse no longer works!

I can try and reinstall it, but it will vanish from the devices list almost immediately after being installed.... and it doesn't even work for those few seconds its there either.

    Help?

If this is a recent problem you have not experienced before, i.e. the BSOD, then you may wish to start the laptop in SAFE Mode with Networking and see if your BT mouse loads. If it doesn't then I suggest doing a System Restore back at least 1 week prior to the problem.
I know that may sound excessive but there have been quite a few MS Updates and rather than find out we did not find the one that may be causing this it is simpler to go back 1 week extra.
