Go to device manager, look for any drivers with a yellow warning sticker, replace them. If there are none, go to the website of the mfg and get the most up to date driver.

Not the problem, try a system restore, to good times.

First, since it is Acer Built-In Camera, we will have to know which brand is your camera...

    1)Chicony
    2)Suyin
    3)Liteon

You might have update one day with the wrong drivers...

Uninstall from Control Panel=> Programs & functions, the Acer camera Crystal Eye software then try to find the brand of your camera, reboot and the windows 7 drivers should load by themselves.
on Acer site choose the proper drivers for that brand. There's for x32 and x64 system....
Reinstall the Acer Crystal Eye Software for the specific Camera.

As exemple, mine is the Chicony one...

All the drivers you need for your Acer are here: Service & Support

You will see there are 2 options for built in webcam Chicony and Suyin. You might get away with downloading them and extracting one to see if it finds the camera. As already has been said you need to see if your Device Manager shows any device with a ?, if you find your camera you could try and do a Driver Update and point it to the directory where you extracted the new drivers.
