    My rear tower fan is noisy...Is it because?


    My rear tower fan is noisy on my new build...Is it because the BIOS have not been updated yet?

    About the only thing you can do is purchase a fan speed controller unit and set the speed to a noise level you want. You also might want to make it's just the rpms causing the noise and not that the blades are touching anything like the framework or the case.     It's quite possible you don't need a high speed fan as an exhaust.

    Any noise you hear might be from air turbulence or it might be from bad bearings.

    I'd get a low speed and known quiet fan from a manufacturer like Yate Loon, Nexus, or Scythe. Might cost you ten bucks or so, probably as cheap as a controller.
