    Mouse Lag - PLEASE HELP

Ok - this is driving me crazy, can someone please help with my mouse lag. Here are the pertinent facts:

    1. I have a new HP Pavilion dm4 laptop with Core I5 processor
    2. System works great with a wireless mouse, use either a logictech or ms depending on where I am working. Meaning when I am using the laptop screen and keyboard.
    3. When I attempt to use a Dynadock port replicator/docking station from Toshiba and my new 23" Samsung LCD monitor I get mouse lag.
    4. It's not terrible, i.e., it doesn't freeze up, but it's just enough delay to drive me nuts as it not as quick or precise. I can best describe it as "floating" when I move my mouse pointer.
    5. I assumed it is likely due to the Dynadock, but I also connected my wireless mouse directly to the laptop and kept the monitor running through the dock, but still had problems
Is there any fix for this? Is it the dock, the monitor, or is there an adjustment setting I can change?

Please advise, before I jump off the bridge.

    Thank you!

    Control panel

    Mouse

    Speed.

If that does not work adjust speed under the pointer option tab

No, unfortunately, it is not a mouse/pointer speed issue adjustment. I typically run my pointer at a very high speed.

The issue is the image on the screen "lags" behind where my pointer should be.

Remember, it works great when I'm only using my laptop screen and keyboard with a wireless mouse. The lags begins when I use the monitor or docking station.

It is possible the monitor speed/response rate is not fast enough? I've seen some specs on monitors for 2 ms and 5 ms. Thoughts?

    Mouse Lag

I had this problem with my Windows 7 installation.
I am using a USB logitec / dell mouse connected directly to a motherboard USB port.
    I am running win7-32ultimate.
I used the Control panel Device Manager to remove the mouse driver.
The system was then rebooted which caused the mouse driver to be reloaded because it is a plug and play device.
Now my mouse works as intended and no longer lags.
