Acer Aspire 3050 with dual core? Or better?

I read on another forum that I could upgrade the CPU in my Acer aspire 3050 to a Turion X2 TL-50 or 52.

    H
    ere's my current CPU:

I know how to replace my processor I'm just wondering what my other options are (If any.)
    Any possibility of a quad-core?

You better ask to a specialized forum...
try a search for forums "forum.notebookreview", there should be a dedicated place for all Acer

    You're welcome...:)

The place is a little messy sometimes as you've got to dig deep in search for your needs, but it is worth a try as people there are quite nice and full of tricks. I'm also registred down there!

No, afraid not! You need a new MOBO that supports a new socket.
