    Bios Flash


    when I try to execute the bios flash file I get this message..please dont tell me to run as administrator as I have already tried it..

    It might be a case of 32 bit drivers on a 64 bit system. Where did you download that bios and phlash from?

    It is a bios flash file and I downloaded it from acer.com

    Well, I would suggest that you flash in DOS from a usb thumb drive. If you will tell me the details of your system and the bios, I can walk you through the steps.

    Otherwise, if you are comfortable flashing in DOS, you can do it yourself. The bios download should contain the DOS phlasher as well as instructions on how to go about it.

    my optical drive sometimes wont be displayed in the bios..thats why...

    How often do you check? And does the OS recognize the drive, does everything work normally? Pl. provide some more details.
