    Sapphire HD5830 Game Edition VS Inno3D GTX465

Hey guys, I have a question.

I'm looking at buying a new GFX card, at the moment I have the the
    Sapphire HD4870 Toxic 1gig 265bit. (DX10.1)

I wanna get one of the following:
    Sapphire HD5830 Gaming Edition 1gig 256bit ddr5 (DX11)
    OR
    Inno3D GTX465 1gig 256bit ddr5 (DX11)

They both prices more or less the same (South Africa)ZAR2,500 (+-315 US Dollar)

I have no clue which is better.

    Any advice would be appreciated

Overall the 465 has a slight advantage over the 5830 (2-5 fps on average) and has 'better' drivers at the expense of a higher idle/load power consumption.

If your budget can't stretch to a 5850 or 470, I'd probably go with the 465.

Tnx, I'll keep it in mind.
I can get the 5850 Game edition for -+ZAR 2,900 which is more or less in the same price range as the GTX465, would you say that's a good decision?

If that's the case, I'd go for the 5850 over the 465 easily.

465 over the 5830 (tbh though - the 465 is over priced for what it is)

    5850 over the 465.
