Well, you're off to a good start then. I built the i5 machine in my specs for less than $900 (US), and that was back when I had 8GB of DDR3 1333 RAM.

I'm not trying to buy new ram so I have to get a mobo that supports DDR2 ram still... :/

"384kb/s line (30kb dl speed)" eek! I have cable internet with 12 MB/s speeds but according to speedtest.net I'm getting around 18 MB/s speeds

The out of stock aint the prob, they useally get stock in a few days, their service is very good.

Good greef, thats one of the reasons why I wana get out of here, EVERYTHING is so dam expensive, we don't even have a 12meg line here yet, yhe fastest is 8megs(1meg/s) and thats almost R1000 p/mnth.

    Check link: http://www.afrihost.com/adsl-uncapped.php

If I wana built a PC like blackrose mentioned, I would easally fork out R13000 ($1687), almost double of what he paid. But ja,thats life...haha

The country is beautifull but thats were it stops.....FULL STOP

You're not going to need a bunch of fans to keep your cpu cool as long as you get a proper heatsink.
