| | One thing I noticed with AMD is the cooler is cheap, maybe if you can invest in a better one, you will like the results. For the DVD rom- can't help you out never bought a sony before...  All in all you should be able to build the system no problem. |

| | You can't use DDR2 RAM with that board. It's an AM3, and you'll need to buy DDR3 RAM for it. And this would be a better CPU, IMO. And it's only $10 more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103656 |
