all media burned freezes at mid point

    all media burned freezes at mid point


    I have a samsung npr522 laptop computer and the burner has been acting funny, what ever I copy the disc freezes at the midpoint, any suggestions?

    What burning program are you using and how is your hard-disk drive, available space, at the moment?

    I have tried nero and easy media, and have even tried windows audio cd tool, none seem to work right, i have like 250 gig of available space, everything was working fine

    Could you try cleaning up your Tempo directory by :
    1. Click Start.
    2. Type: %tmp%
    3. Press Enter.
    This will open the Temp directory. Have a look at this link on how to clear the directory.
    Could you also let us know the temp directory that you have allocated under Nero? And what security software (is it Norton's) are you running?

    problem has been fixed, I installed cyberlink dvd suite
