CPU upgrade benefits?

    To the original question of the 955 over the 5400,

    If you want better performance, I would not focus on the CPU but rather on the disk. A good SSD for the OS (even a 30GB will suffice) will give you a lot more of a performance boost than a CPU upgrade. This is an example for $110 but they have sold for as low as $79.95. There are, of course, a lot of other options.

    I like that benchmark tool, been using it for a while.

    Would be nice if they would keep adding to it, but it's still pretty good now.
