Socket 1156 and Corsair H50 CPU Cooler

I have a Corsair H50 cooler on my current socket 775 system. It also came with a socket 1366 mounting bracket but not a socket 1156 bracket. I just purchased a socket 1156 I7 .. is there anywhere I can get the correct mounting bracket to be able to use my Corsair H50 with this CPU?

    From Corsair.

I'm not sure, but it looks like it may be free (except for shipping).

Yes, originally the H50 only came with the 775 and 1366 brackets. If you need it for 1156 or AM2, 3 they will supply the bracket for free, but you pay any shipping. The bracket is included in retail packages now. A Guy

And the instuctions for mounting on the 1156 are wrong. Check out the corsair forum. My post made a sticky!

I mounted it the best way I could & when I tightened it up the backing plate started bulging outward. It slowly came together so that everything was tight although the bulge is still there.

They wanted me to take the board out & reconnect it but seeing as I only just built the system it can wait.
